Menus have disappeared

Hi Everyone,
You may have noticed that if you have reinstalled Steam, you do not get a menu popup when you type admin or menu ....
This is because now steam inserts a new line in your config.cfg, hiding this by default.
We have decided to tackle this another way, and getting rid of menus alltogether, for example you will notice that now you can:
[*]Votemap with simply typing G or B in chat when it is time to vote.
[*]Get a list of models printed to you when typing models in chat, and then you can type the model name directly in chat to change.
This is great as it saves time, just type the model name in chat. For example : bikini or elexis.
However, some menu functions are still useful ... and the admin functions are essential. So the solution is :
Modify the line cl_showpluginmessages "0" to cl_showpluginmessages "1"
This is typically located in :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\hl2mp\cfg\config.cfg
